The Exhibition Hotel is situated directly opposite Bootham Bar, one of four main gatehouses through which medieval visitors passed to gain access to the city of York
As you might expect from a bed and breakfast in York, surrounded by such magnificent historic architecture, we have gone to great lengths to bring guests and visitors an experience worthy of the location.

From the A1237 Outer Ring Road follow the A19 to the City Centre. Pass through Clifton and on to Bootham. You will see us on the left hand side at the end of Bootham just over the road from Bootham Bar. Turn left into Gillygate and left again after 100 yards to reach our car park.
