Shuni and Danny Davies, Rose and the team understand that every visitor to The Exhibition, whether they’ve just popped in for a pint or are spending a few days in the hotel accommodation, are all seeking a relaxing, enjoyable experience, and they know just how to deliver this.

Before taking over The Exhibition Hotel as publicans in 1983, the couple had spent decades in the entertainment industry – Shuni as a singer and performer, and Danny as a manager of theatres and restaurants.
The pub reflects their interests, with plenty of fun memorabilia, as well as a host of quirky artefacts and pictures that complement its long history. Once a splendid Queen Anne-style home to notable local people, including members of the city’s famous Rowntree family, the listed building still has bags of character that draws guests back again and again.
Their daughter Katie is hard at work learning the ropes in readiness to take the reins when the time is right.
